I've been thinking a lot about religion lately, and although much to my family's despair I haven't been a believer in quite some time, it's been more disturbing than I thought to actually delve deeper into what the Bible really says. The stories in church and especially Sunday school have been sugarcoated to suit the weak stomach, and so many liberties have been taken they don't even resemble what "the good book" says anymore. And I'm barely into Exodus!
I won't get into it just yet, I'm not ready for full on religious debate, but I will say anyone who claims "God is good" and "God is kind" should read what I've read so far.
